Brenna Reynolds currently serves on Rossford City Council, where she brings a leadership style defined by accessibility, collaboration, and follow-through. As Chair of the Facilities, Parks, and Marina Committee, a member of the Recreation Committee, and former member of the Public Works and Charter Review Committees, Brenna focuses on listening to residents and making local government more responsive and people-centered.
One of the hallmark initiatives of her time on Council has been launching and hosting Quarterly Community Conversations — open public forums that give residents the opportunity to share concerns, ask questions, and help shape local priorities. Through these conversations, Brenna has also connected Rossford residents with their broader government, including hosting events with their Congressional Representative and State Board of Education member, making local democracy more accessible and personal.
In addition to her Council work, Brenna works at BGSU’s Center for Regional Development, where she contributes to research and regional planning while pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration. She previously served as a Suicide Prevention Consultant with the Children’s Resource Center in Bowling Green, where she provided mental health education to students across Wood County, and as Co-Chair of the Youth Empowerment and Engagement Committee for the City of Toledo’s Human Relations Commission.
Brenna’s commitment to public service is deeply rooted. Raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she began volunteering at age seven through her church and local YMCA — serving meals in the winter and helping clean neighborhoods in the summer. As a teenager, she joined youth advisory boards for both the YMCA and SafeHouse Center, helping design programming for young people in her community.
That early passion for service led Brenna to earn a degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, working her way through college in small businesses and developing a strong appreciation for local economies and connected communities. After moving to Wood County, she quickly found her place in Rossford, where she continues to lead with heart and purpose.
She is also a proud member of United Way’s Emerging Leaders and Women’s Initiative.
Whether she’s advocating for public spaces, supporting youth and families, or helping residents navigate systems of government, Brenna brings clarity, care, and consistency to everything she does — always putting Rossford first.
